s4a/relay chase problem help!!

I have a american dj s4a controller and a american dj relay pack with dip switches, i have it hooked up and when i turn the chase patterns on only two channels at a time work on the relay pack, depending on the dip switches i can get the 2/4 combo or 1/3 channels. the controller has a 4 led display and shows them all lighting up on the pattern and the led on the relay just shows the two channels, when i hit dip 4/10 all light and flash at the same time, but other then that i can't get all the channels to go, any ideas?

The S4A controller was meant for strobes and won't trigger 4 sequential channels as you have found out.
