I am interested in purchasing a Revo III and some kind of set lighting. With the Revo III and the Par 64 led are they plug and play units or do you have to have the DMX setup to operate? I am interested in something that does not have cycles, can stay on longer and can be switched with an 8 switch board. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what I may want to look at? Can you stay on a single color with a Par 64 light or are they changed by sound activated noise? I do smaller parties and would like to move to led and need a good center piece and two lights to use with a mirror ball, fog machine and Double Derby Eliminator. Thanks for the help.

well se the thing is. the revo III is a 4 or 10 channels and each par 64 led will be 6 or 7 channels depending on which one you get. you might want to get a higher up controller. like a dmx op 192. you can have the leds change via a sound active mode in the dmx traits. you could however just plug them in and run them both in sound active mode. no dmx cables or anything. up to you and the look you want to achieve. but only a 8 channel controller will not be enough for a revo III and a few led par cans. sincerely,
