So, I was checking out your new Revo Burst and it looks like a Revo 3. What is the difference between the two or is it just packaging?

Mainly the casing is smaller. I am not sure if they programmed any new patterns, but you are correct it is essentially the same fixture.
mainly think of it as a Revo 3 with smaller case and the rotating effects from the Revo Rave. That would be the best I could describe it. As far as programming the only two ways to tell would be to ask our R&D people or compare the Revo 3 and Burst side by side in DMX modes.

ok, this is good info. Now, let me ask you this. Cost! Is the Revo 3 cheaper because it's about 2 years old and the Revo Burst is new? I guess what I am saying is, which one would give me more bang for my buck?
I would say burst.
if it comes down to money, i say get the revo3.
if you want a great light get the revo4.
if you want a great light get the revo4.
