I think I was the first in the country to use (in the field) the new Vizi LED Spot.

Used two of them in 7 proms this spring and loved them. The gobo's and especially the prism gobos are very Kewl. The color changes are smooth as the gobo changes. I used them once in a venue where there was quite a bit of light and they still showed very well. The light weight makes them extremely easy to hang and transport. I would give them a 2 Thumps UP

I plan on buying 2 more. With the Revo 3 on the ceiling the kids loved the show. Used Haze twice and they jumped out. I highly recommend buying these lights.

My only compaint about getting cases made is that they are heavy, and where they would have to go in my truck, it's difficult to get to since I don't often have to do a full load-out.

The Arriba cases are decent, but I don't have any VIZI fixtures yet. I am using a pair of them for my pair of Chauvet Q-spots and they work pretty good. The luggage-type handle is durable and the wheels make moving them around nice and easy.

I'm in the market for 4 or more movers and I've been working with Jingles to find the right combination.

My biggest problem is:
More gear takes more space. I'm finding new ways to find the magic combination via "truck load tetris" to make things fit!
Well, the issue is that I have literally TONS of audio gear, and the truck is optimized by it's load to haul gear that is in cases or solid enough to stand alone.

This leaves the lighting to live in the cab-over section, which makes it a pain in the butt to get to(due to weight and insufficient room to move). All that's in the cab-over area right now is the older party-style lights, which will be coming out in a few days and staying in the garage until SacAnime at the start of September.

Since I rarely need to take out the back row of gear(which is all subwoofers anyways), I can't conveniently get to the cab-over section. I do let the monitors rest on the subs during transport, and I've made a "web" from straps to help keep the cab-over section save from moving monitors.

So, I have to learn to load my truck to create "platforms" to hold Arriba cases with lights in them, or not. For example, my 4 Mega Panels on a 5-foot section of i-beam trussing has to lay relatively flat and not want to move around so much because it's not in a case. I have 4 bags for Parcans, and I have 2 cases, each with 4 64 LED Pros connected to an LTS-2 T-bar and pre-wired and stuffed in the bag as best as possible(they don't fit entirely, but it serves to transport them conveniently). I'll have to remove 2 bags full of Par38's so I can re-use them for the new Opti Tri pars when they come in.

I don't even want to think how a FULL LOAD would go these days! With me phasing out this stupid reel my 56-channel 200-foot whip used to reside on, I get back a bunch of space by using a plastic 27-gallon bin that matches the bins I use for other things as well.

Even so, the priority is STILL audio gear. My existing monitors are being phased out due to thermalling issues(Mackie SRM-450s dont' cool properly in the monitor position, I'll try KV2 Audio EX 12's instead, or perhaps some of the new QSC K-series). Truck space isn't going to change much.

I wish business would take off so I could afford a smaller truck for lighting and video.

No matter how things go, the 3D Visualizers aren't going to stop being used. Those are mega important tools for me!
