I’m re-opening a small club that was built in the early 80s. The club has sat vacant for many years, used mostly as storage for another business. Anyway, it features a backlit glass block dance floor that is still in great shape. The dance floor is raised about 8” from the ground, and there are channels beneath the glass block that contain rows of light bulbs... all connected to an old chaser box. This is obviously outdated and needs to be replaced.

I’m looking for advice on which type of fixtures to install that are more efficient and will put on good show without breaking the bank. The space under the floor is accessible, but tight. There are also vertical strips of backlit glass in the surrounding walls that are very similar. We are using a DMX controller for other lighting in the bar, but are open to anything.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation that can offer any pointers?  Thanks!
