Renaming profiles

jingles, you did me up a profile back in august for a par64 par can with 7 channels. I just bought a 7-ch LED strobe from them that has the exact same 7 channels.

I imagine the only difference is one is considered a par can and the other one is just a group of LEDs in a rectangle shape, anyways, since they use the same 7-ch, is it possible just to make a copy of the .ssl file and rename it to a new file to represent the new profile, or is there something internaly that I am not aware about.

Like I said, the new strobe I got from the same company has the EXACT same 7-channels. The only thing I could come up with is that when the fixture is showing up in the sliders, the profile name comes up. Is that coded in the profile or just that go by the name of the profile.

You are more than welcome to copy the file and simply rename it. All you do is right click on the file, click copy, then paste it somewhere, and then right click your copy and then select rename. Easy as 1,2,3.
