So I change my mind & move a fixture elsewhere in the Setting's tab & the presets go with it... Cool!

However when I go to the Editor tab the presets stayed where they were originally & did not follow the fixture move. I'm not sure why the Settings it works but the Editor puts the preset slides back where they originally were even though the fixture is now in a new place...

The fixture profile is really just a point of Reference for yourself. The DMX signal itself is a pattern of signals that tell slot 233 to have a value of 128. It doesn't know that You want your Par 64 to have a red saturation of 50%. So yes, the profile moved all of your settings, but the faders are set to be a certain value.

Good Luck
To clarify:
Lets say I have a fixture utilizing addresses 1-4 & are all set to a value of 50. Now lets say I move this fixture to occupy addresses 100-103 instead. In the Setup tab those values of 50 moved with the fixture now setting addresses 100-103 at 50 and the original 1-4 are at zero. However when I change over to the Editor tab the addresses 1-4 have the original values of 50 again but there is no fixture there. The fixture was moved to 100-103 and now has no values.
The Setup Tab has no effect on any scenes. It is there to patch your setup and test that each light is working. Like wise the scenes don't really care what the patch is, it just looks at all fader values. If you are moving your fixtures, unfortunately you are going to have to rewrite them in your show.
