Hi there!

First of all sorry for my english if i typed some things wrong Razzer -ImDutch-

2 weeks ago ive bought the sweet VMS4. I had no trouble recording my mixes untill yesterday.
Im 100% sure i havent touched any configuration at all!

I recorded my 2.5 hour session and when i was done i listened to it but the first songs i mixed i heard my queue also! So i was very frustrated lol.

I really dont know what i did wrong but i recorded 2 songs playing again with the volume faders down and vdj recorded that somehow!!.
Im one of the few i guess who dont know what to do so i reinstalled everything (drivers, firmware, vdj, asio, etc)and tried it again.
Well same things happened. VDJ records when faders are down..weird...

Luckely (at that time) my brother has the same setup so i called him to ask what his configuration is so i changed it the same as his but noooo again it failed.

Ive used the ASIO4ALL, AmericanAudio_ASIODriver_WIN_1.07 but its alle the same.

Here's what i did with my pc the day before yesterday and yesterday just to make sure i havent done something wrong that would uuhh sorry to say f*** up my configuration.

Ive installed the software for my new camera and it comes with some media programs and i installed them. After i found out the mixes failed i uninstalled them but didnt work either. Ive opened my PC to clean al the dust inside so every cable was disconnected. I connected them proper tho.

I als tried http://www.virtualdj.com/homep...MS4_Setup_Guide.html but even that didnt worked. Im so confused right now.

I hope someone can help with this.

Windows 7
VDJ7
VMS4
Updated firmware

First, the VMS4 is an analogue mixer.

Second...

If you mix using the on-screen mixer, then you are controling the software which is being recorded by VDJ. If/when you are using the VMS4, it is strictly controlling the hardware end.

This is because VirtualDJ has no way of knowing where the crossfader/volume sliders are on the external mixer and which channels are currently playing out live. As far as its concerned, its volume sliders are up and crossfader is in the middle, so both channels are being output live and as such, both will be recorded and/or broadcast.
