Random volume fluctuation problem...

A midilog's volume will fluctuation but I'm not touching the controls. I can sit and listen to a song play and it will get louder and softer and I'm not messing with my computer, with Virtual DJ or the VMS4 at all.

Interestingly, this does not happen when I'm listening to the signal in my headphones via the PFL buttons.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

I apologize if this has been asked before, I did a search and found nothing.

Have you tried to plug an analog device (Ipod, etc) on another channel to see if there is still fluctuation?
