Random Fixture settings showing up

I am finding when I have a program with many different songs programmed with 4 fixtures, that arbitrarily in steps in different scenes, a fixture takes on a setting that was not on before.

For instance I have black out scenes in three groups. They have always been black. Today I was fooling around with some of the Scenes/ steps in other songs when the blackouts in the 3 groups all had the Ultrabar6 on with the same setting showing up in each of the blackouts (each in it's own group). Why is this happening? Anyone have this happen to them? This would not be good if it happens during a show?

This can usually be caused by having the blackout on in the LIVE tab, but you are in edit mode and clicking around. its best to have everything cleared/not active when switching between live and edit.
