Random data sent via Midi

how do you know that there is erratic data sent?

Hi Fresh,

When Im in the control manager, I begin to create a new add in. after settin that part up...i hit "learn" to map the button of choice. A particular midi pops up. when I click to reset it so I can map...It pops up again. Making "learning" impossible.

Ch01.CC.020 or Ch01.CC.024 is the two it repeats.

Would it be best to call them direct or to email?

doesnt make a difference if you mail or call!

Hey Decka,

Are you getting Random MIDI at all times or only when you 1st turn on the VMS4? the VMS4 does send all MIDI values when initiciaded so that software can have the right CC values.

If you are getting Random value other than that, your VMS4 might need service.
