I'm planning a light show for a dance show. Someone suggested that I use Rainbow-250's in place of par 64's. Does the rainbow provide enough light for medium distance (80ft.) spots?
Actually the 150's give off plenty of light at 150watts. So the 250's are a plenty. On a side note if you want to run more than 2 250's be sure to have seperate circuits, since the 250's draw 5amps each, couple that with other lights and you might have *POP*.

Sorry for the misinformation. I was told by another reputable source that they draw 5amps. Drawing only 3 amps makes the lights all the more better. On a side note support please Email me at bammm at ptd dot net. On prodj.com there is a thread that could use your expertise, as far as the colorchangers.
I own 3 of them, I find them very useful!!! The colors are not ment to be replaced but you can if you really wanted to. If you have any more questions just ask!
