Question......Has anyone used this system yet and how did you like it? I plan on purchasing this system upon my return from iraq. I will be DJing my Marine Corps Ball and need to upgrade my current system. My next question...would running the Quick Scan system with 2 Hyper Beams and 2 Vertigos be over kill? The Ball will have 350-400 guest. We will have a dance floor and the works. I want to plan and buy smartly one time. Thanks in advance. Cool

Ive never used the quick scan system but if i where you i would just save up your money and buy some real intels/scanners, the quick scan system all the colors and gobos are static, they dont change, you have to change them before the show, but if u dont have time to save up for intels it seems like a pretty good sertup for the money, as for the overkill with the vertigos and hyperbeams, if u point the hyperbeams on the ceiling and walls, and have the vertigos pointed at the could the crowd (try to space them far apert from each other) or vice versa, it would not be to overkill, if you had the vertigos and hyperbeams pointed all at teh crould it would be overkill, unless you switched the lights every 20 min or so (vertigos on/hyperbeams off, then hyperbeams on/vertigos off).

Just some thoughts

Thanks Shyne...I really would like to know if someone has used these particular lights. Particularly the quick scan system. Reason being is the combination of the scanners, hyper beams and vertigos...how much power are they using? I just want to make sure if I use this sytem along with two subs, two tops and cd system I won't need some rediculous amount of power. Trying to get two or three circuits all seperate because if I add pars or gazers that might max me out. I would like to get away with two circuits if possible. One for lights one for the sound system. Thanks for your response though. Cool
