So I just bought a used American DJ Haze generator via Ebay. When I flip the switch on I can hear the fan, but the compressor doesn't seem to be working. Is it because the unit has no Haze fluid? I won't be getting the Haze fluid until sometime next week.
When you get it pour a little bit of fluid in there, like an ounce and or and try it, you can't really tell if its working right if there is no fluid in it and in fact running it without-fluid in it may damage it.
I was told by the seller that the compressor might not turn on because there are no fluids. I just want to be sure it wasn't damaged in the shipping since the unit didn't really have almost any padding at all. Does anyone on here know if the compressor doesn't turn on with no fluids? I just want to rule out any damages as soon as possible so I can request a refund if I need to. The darn fluid might take up to 2 weeks to get here.
I forwarded your post to my Service manager, he said running it without fluid is the WORST thing you can do to that product, its best to just wait for the fluid to test for certain.
Okay. I only turned it on for a bit to see if it would power on at all. I didn't keep it on for long.
