Greetings,

I light my band with six Punch Pros. However, after barely a year of ownership some of the lights are starting to show failed blocks of LEDs.

The most annoying outbreak is in a fixture where six or eight of the red LEDs in one row fail to illuminate. I used to be able to tap on the glass and the LEDs would come on, but no longer. On some of the other lights, one or two blue or green LEDs in a cluster will not illuminate.

I believe that the LED circuit boards are suffering from cold-solder joints. I don't suspect rough handling or transport. I baby these things when they're being set up and torn down, and they travel standing on end, in six individual foam-surround compartments on one side of a wheeled ATA trunk (there are four 12' tripods, four 15# sandbags and two 4' crossbars in another compartment).

All of the retail boxes said "3-year warranty," so I'm sure that AMDJ will stand behind the product. I'm in St. Louis MO. Are there any local warranty stations that can fix my lights expediently?

Best regards,

Tim ==

ADJ Service is great. You are going to have to ship them back to Los Angeles. You need to contact service and get an RA or RMA. They may have options to get the items back to you faster, but I'll let the friendly guy on the phone take care of being the definitive answer for that.

Regardless, let's say there was a local place. If they don't have parts, they have to order it from LA anyways. But, since ADJ only has one authorized service center, they can stick behind the work there.

I know it's an inconvenience, but it's honestly the best way to go.
