I purchased a PS1 QMX bpm system approx. 16 months ago.It is an excellent system, lots of pro features for your hard earned dollars....I've practiced on the system often, but never got the control, response,or sound of a vinyl scratch;it's more of an "effect",or sound altering performance. I've never tried a ps2,nor seen them in actual performance.Dose the scratching sound and feel more realistic on a ps2,what is this touch-sensitive jog wheel and how dose it differ from the ps1???What is accurate digital scratching 2.0,a program???Besides more effects...how dose the ps2 differ from the ps1??

The PS2's scratching is allot more accurate. But the touch sensative wheels take some more getting used to when you upgrade from a PS1. The three biggest things you will earn by upgrading from the PS1 to the PS2.
1) The Power Tuch - touch sensative jog wheels.
2) Beat juggle mode - I use it all the time, and love it.
3) Master Tempo - Change the pitch without affecting the key of the song.

Also a wide +-100% pitch mode.
Yep, what Stevie said. Wink

I had the PS1s for about a year, then upgraded to PS2s. All I can say is...Wow! You will not be disappointed. The touch-sensative platter is one of the best features, I think. Works similar to those touch-lamps. How does it differ from the PS1? Well, in Scratch mode, when you touch the PS2 platter, the music will stop. Let go, and it starts up again.
If you have the means, I highly recommend you pick a up a pair.
Squad I have owned the PS1's, for 3 years, and finally upgraded to the PS2's about 6 months ago, not because I needed to, but because I wanted to. Your main concern right now seems to be reliability. Let me assure you that all my experiences with ADJ CD players have been exceptions (6 table tops, 2 Dual decks). I have had no problems. If you search some other forums on the web you will find most agree that ADJ's support team is one of the best in the market, and you get a 2 Year Warranty. Not too shabby huh?
