Programming the Galaxian 3D

I have the Galaxian 3D and when I bought it I was told I can pick to set it to just green or red laser and all the different effects, like liquid sky. Which I'm trying to do but the manual doesnt make sense, and I can't figure it out. Can someone in laymans terms just tell me what buttons to press to select certian effects?

Are you using a DMX controller? Because if you are not I am not seeing anyway in the fixtures system menu to limit what color etc. Are you using a UC3 remote on this unit?

Also the galaxian 3D doesn't do a "Liquid Sky" effect. That is only on our Galaxian sky or Royal sky lasers.

when i bought this, the person showed me the unit in the store, he showed my what he called the liquid sky effect. and that out of the box it could do all these effects. No i have no dmx or uc3, just the four buttons on it

Was the person who sold it to you using it with a controller or just the buttons on the unit? The only options in the fixture menu are for sound active modes and Master/Slave and DMX.

Well there is the DMX Operator. And the Very basic but should work SDC-6. Also the SDc-6 is battery powered.

The DMX op will let you program scenes and looks etc. The SDC-6 is for set it and forget it level adjustment.

I use two Galaxians in my shows and I get a flat fan effect in green using MyDMX but not red. I get it by turning on only green with no rotation. Cool effect when they're aimed the same.

That is like the UC3 link i posted earlier just wireless and will let you use more that one fixture. Watch the under the hood video with chuck green. It's all explained in there.

I'm hitting up Chuck Green right now.

He said the UC3 should override all settings and functions. you should be able to plug it in and it should respond. Make sure you are not on Standby.

There is no stand by on the laser. The UC3 has a standby button. It is the very top button. Make sure that Red LED is not on for stand by.
