problems with my vms4.1

Hello

I've bought an American Audio Vms4.1 a few days ago
But I've some troubles with it
I've looked in the faq but didn't found the answer.

I've installed virtual dj on my pc (windows 7)
I've also installed Asio
But when i plug my vms into my pc and open my VDJ
I can't control vdj with my vms
Nothing works I've tried a lot of settings but nothing works
Is this a problem off my vms and should I send it back
Or is this a problem of VDJ
I hope you can help my and if you have some more questions please ask

Here are the settings I am using to make my VMS4.1 work:

Sound Setup:

Inputs: None

Outputs: External Mixer (Deck 1: Chan 1&2/ Deck 2: Chan 3&4)

Sound Card: ASIO Driver (ADJ ASIO)

I tried a few other settings but this one works no problem. I do not think the there's any issue with your VMS4...good luck!

I think I've found the problem but I'm not sure
My pc is equiped with 3.0 usb ports and i wrote somewhere that I can't use my vms trough 3.0 usb ports
Is this true
and is there a solution for ?

I don't why this would be a factor as USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0.

Does your laptop detect the VMS4?

Test it with the software that was included before you do anything. Unistall your version of Virtaul DJ and use the included version, test all the functions and you will know better where the issues are. If they are mapping, version etc with your VDJ PRO, those are easy to take care of.
