Problem with DMX 2 Controller & DP-DMX20

I have a DMX 2 controller connected to a DP-DMX20, MX4, Marvel and, Accubeam Showpro

The channel settings are as follows
DP-DMX20 - 1
Marvel - 17
MX4 - 33
ShowPro - 49

All the lights power cords are plugged into the DP-DMX20 as follows
ShowPro - 1
MX4 - 2
Marvel - 3

The ShowPro works just fine, but when I go to turn on the Marvel it just resets. The MX4 turns on just fine but when I move the fader into the spot where it should make the light come on it resets. When I plug the power cords into constant power outlets eveything works fine, it only messes up when they are plugged into the DP-DMX20.

Can anyone help with this?

We first of all you don't need the DP-DMX20 that is a DMX dimmer pack and thats the last thing you want do to is use a dimmer pack on intels! If you take the DP-DMX20 out of the picture you said it runs fine. So DO NOT use that pack it is meant for dimmer thing like par cans and NOT for intels and when intels are dimmed things can be messed up inside the units. Sorry for sounding sturn I just sure you understand. Smiler

you don't need to plug the intells into a power pack, just plug them into power and use the DMX pack for Par cans. Don't use a PPDMX 20 either. YOu use the controller to adjust the on and off of the lamp for the intell and there is no downtime, when the lights are first turned on.

So, if DMX Dimmer packs are not supposed to be used on Intells. Then why the use of DMX period for just Par Cans, you would be much better off using cheaper Analog dimmer packs wouldn't you? Are there not any Intells that are dimmer capable or not? I thought some were.
