I just bought two of these lights and they work when no dmx signal is detected, but when I connect cables, they go dark and will not respond to any MyDMX commands. I downloaded the 5 channel profile from the site Jingles recommended and closely followed the instructions in the light manual. I have other Chauvet lights intermingled with ADJ lights and they all work properly with MyDMX. I am thinking is is a profile issue and not hardware, what are the chances that two lights would have the same problem? Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I tried the tenth switch and neither setting affected the light. Not trying to offend you. Just think it unlikely that both units would be defective in the same way. I've spoken with Chauvet's tech support and they are testing two units and will ship to me. I hope it is a hardware issue and the replacements work with MyDmx.
