Yes, 2500 C/Ft per minute is enough, I just have to give it time when running to fill up simple as that. and no residue will not form on walls and floors... unless use a ****load of haze which is un likely.

I just got my American DJ Haze Generator and its awesome. I recomend it! Big Grin

For the Haze Generator (the heaterless model), what is the wattage requirement for it? Are there any plans for a DMX controlled haze generator in the near future?

Oh, the differences between the fogger and the hazer: Fogger makes a thick cloud of fog that slowly dissapates. Great for lasers. You usually need to fire off a fog burst just before you need it. The hazer creates what real fog looks like outside. Its much thinner and very even. Most large indoor concerts I've seen lately prehaze the venue before the show nad they barley even add to it during the preformance. I would guess that if you were outside or very good ventilation, that it could overpower the hazer. The fogger would work while it crosses the stage, then you need to fire off more. I havent used a hazer yet so please correct me if Im wrong about that. Im looking at getting one in the near future. I'd rather have it run continuously on a timer. It seems that it would be more 'bar friendly' than a fogger on a timer.

The HazeGenerator draw about 6 amps we have a DMX version from Antari HZ400 it draws about 7 amps and is 3500cfm. Also available is the X310 and Z300ll which are "Fazers" which use regular fog juice but give more of a haze effect. Check them out on the Elation site under Antari
One more question: is there a cycle period for the hazer where it needs to reheat/prime itself? I was wondering since its heaterless how that is affected.

Also the manual says it uses a 3amp fuse. Does it pull less than 6amps or is the pdf file out dated to the current version of the haze generator?

Thanks so much for your help!

That would have to be wrong information. I seem to recall the heaterless haze generator running around 350 watts, which would be fine with a 3-amp, 120V fuse. That's the ONLY one I am considering these days because th FogStorm F700 draws 6-7 amps and I need that electricity for other things.

I'm running so tight on AC at clubs and stuff these days. They really don't seem to understand how to properly provide ample AC for PA's and lights anymore unless the owner isn't clueless and has chosen to spend a bunch of money.
Just to update this thread and answer my own questions: The Haze Generator does not have a heatup cycle, nor does it need to take a break during operation. Also it goes through the juice very slowly Ive used it for 2 shows and its gone down 2-3mm maybe. I think I can get 10 shows off of a tank full (which I put in about 3/4 of a gallon). Probably more even.
