PocketScan has probs after an hour...

hey all, I'm a new poster here, but I've been lurking for a while.

I have a couple PocketScans I bought on eBay. One is the model with a sensitivty pot, the other has no pot. The one without a pot acts up after an hour or so. It will go through the power-up initialization phase repeatedly, until I shut it down and let it rest for an hour. Seems like a temperature problem, but I really don't know for sure.

Anyone have an idea for what I should do next?

have you tried cleaning out the light. It could be the fan is clogged or not working.
