Pocket Scans with DMX solo... Question

When I use my DMX solo, with my pocket scans, and when I put my solo on the strobe setting then, make the addreses both 9 , the fixtures go into some kind of gobo scroll.... I tryed an address combo for the colors but cant.... I am really new with dmx so this my sound kinda dumb to you.
