I bought a 5 scan and controller system from my local dealer. It has never worked right. The scans turn on whenever they feel like and likewise turn off whenever they feel like it. They blow up bulbs every other day. I am VERY dissapointed in this system. I contacted my dealer which said the main computer in the scan was fried. How did this happen to all 5 of the scans? So I get this bill to replace a computer in a scan. I won't say how much but i find it to be outrageous. I said there would be no way i would get all of these fixed for that price. My dealer said the American DJ rep. would be calling me so we could figure something out. No phone call. I sent an e-mail to American DJ about this problem. No reply. I called a number for American DJ my dealer gave me. No response. I am so unbelievably mad.

So my question is: Does anybody else have this problem with American DJ? Does anybody see the reason why I should stay with American DJ? Is there anyway I can actually get in touch with an American DJ rep so i can figure out this problem?

How long ago did you purchase the lights? Did you buy them brand new from the dealer? If they are less than a year old, they would still be under warranty, and therefore any repairs would be free. Try calling this number (800 322 6337) after 10am PST and ask for support. They will be sure to get things straightened out. As far as the dealer telling you that an ADJ rep was going to call you, I would be willing to bet that the dealer just said that to make you feel better, and so that you wouldn't bother them with this anymore. Ask the dealer who the rep was that was "supposed" to call you. Because most everyone I know who works for ADJ is very good at getting back to customers, because ADJ is well known for its support team, and putting the customer first. Also if you only sent the email on Friday, give them a couple days they will usually get back to you by Monday. Also if I may ask, what email addy did you use to send to support?
