well there is a few "mods" you can do.


first and most common is to switch the red laser with a green laser.

second is on the older ver's with the antenna built in there is a way of having it respond to a remote dmx.

the first i have done the second i have heard done but never seen it

i agree with that 100%.

evenly if you didi put a Mighty Scan color wheel in it would be most likely skipping colors.
What are these called? Smiler

What kind of device is in them? (I suppose just typing in green laser might bring irrelevant stuff, or innapropriate devices)...

And how are these supposed to be installed? Any webpage that outlines the process? How difficult is it? does it require soldering?

It does not require soldering for the laser...just open up the fixture, locate the wire of the laser and simply unplug the the wire from switchboard (large green panel) and then use a screwdriver to unscrew the laser unit from the Pocket Scan body. then remove the red diode and stick a green equivalent and just reassemble....
