I have four of them and I love them to death. LOL, for my events which is mostly all Mobile there bright enough, use some fog with it if you can to show the effect of the beams. Also with the fog you can see the laser in it which is a very cool effect, BUT if for some odd reason you don't like them, return them if you can and get the Mighty Scan, it's about the same size but heavier. There brighter and have better strobing effects. Have fun with them, and also eventually get a controller for it, you'll have more fun with it then.

I use 2 Pocket Scans and I love them. Yeah, I read all the posts about the mighty 'Mighty', but unless you are involved in large-scale stage productions, the Pockets will do just fine. I have used them in large halls with low house lighting AND dark settings and they perform GREAT! Personally, I feel that the DJ's that opt for the most powerful, brightest intells, (for use in smaller halls!!) are either doing a dis-service to their clients by nearly blinding them, or over-compensating for 'something'. (or both Big Grin ) Give the Pockets a chance. Pick up the DMX Operator if you can. One more thing. The negative posts concerning the Pockets lasers is mostly bullspit. My lasers put dots on my walls about the diameter of pencils at only 8-10 feet and are highly visible with just a little fog. The DMX Operators pot #7 allows you to use JUST the lasers which makes for a VERY cool show especially when used with one of those green 'club lasers'. Good luck and I hope I helped. -Ken-
