Just bought a pair of each to update the lightshow but really disappointed to find out the IR remote only operates from the front of the unit, the majority of the time we are behind them. Not only that but there appears to be no "Auto" available on the DMX programme, can't believe ADJ expect me to go out front and start changing modes like I'm changing TV channels or expect me to write a shed load DMX scenes.

How do others get around these short comings?

I second this!

I thought my remotes were broken until i stood at the front. locking the menu forces users to use the remotes IMO and even that is a pain.

im an adj fan, but these lights are not all i hoped
