I posted this also at Elation's forum, but I think its relavant here as well since it's 90% ADJ gear in action.

My band did a show on Saturday and I snapped of a few picture of our rig. I have the ADJ DuraTruss above the drum kit w/ 4 PocketScans, 2 DJ Scans and a TracPod 30. The side lights are some RGB washes by another brand because ADJ/Elation really dont make a competing product. In most of the shots its a solid color, but I have it in the 48 channel mode so each light can be any color, any brightness, and strobe independently of the rest. Im also using a ADJ Haze Generator (which I can only say great things about! Except no DMX).

The pocket scans are holding their own pretty well, the DJ Spots beside them are 250watts vs. the pockets 100watts, and look pretty balanced. For more rectangular shaped stages its great having just the tracpod back there so its lit just enough that the scans stand out, then I keep the front levels down to balance and it saves me a few watts (the fronts are 3 500watt bulbs (1500 total per side for bright white) + 1000watts for the lights on the truss and the haze generator (300ish watts). So turing down the washes helps in many ways.
Actually I'm not using any pars Smiler I usually dont have very much room, so I get limited to just 1 stand, which is usually 4 pars and that leaves either everyone w/ 1 color or people are in the dark. I grabbed 4 (usually only use 2) stage washes that blend Red/Green/Blue to make any color. Also it morphs from 1 color to the next very smoothly (no gels to rotate or anything). The bad side is its a lot of power because its not tightly focused, and EVERYTHING is lit, which is good and bad. Sometimes it nice to just have the waste up lit and the stage dark, rather than lighting all the amps and cables and stuff on the ground.

I have Elation's TracPod 30 on the truss to light the drum kit. Its 8 LED lights, running in a 48 channel mode. Each light can be any color/brightness and can all strobe independently of each other too. Also only takes about 100 watts to power it! One of my favorite pieces of gear...
