just got them yesterday and I couldnt be happier with these two.
REVO 4
to experience the revo 4 at its best, I think it needs to be really high. we hung it at about 16ft. high and the lights didnt really spread out like we wished it would. this being said, we are using it as a centerpiece (it hits directly on the center of the dancefloor) and exceeded my expectations. when I saw it for the first time, it was hanging about six feet off the ground and couldnt appreciate it for what it really could do; sometimes it is better to see it in person than in video to fully apreciate it. the revo is just great and what helps is the price too (thanks guys for not making overexpensive products).
Mobile djs, this may not be the best light for you since most likely, you will hang lights about seven ft off the ground and point the light outwards the dancefloor. because of what the light does, you wont be able to fully apreciate it to the fullest (you might want to check out the revo express, bright and covers a large area).
GALAXIAN SKY
when i first saw the video, I knew I had to have it. but once i went to pick it up, i wanted to make sure i was getting the best laser for me. we compared it to the other galaxians and I noticed that they were all brighter than the sky was, but i bought the sky anyways because i was looking for that type of laser instead of a laser that throws that much beams but thats it.
once hanging at about 12ft high and pointing out onto a large room, this thing went nuts and reassured me that i did buy the best light for my needs. The sky does so much and yet again, the price is right.
This may not be the best laser for mobile usage since half the time mobile dj's tend to play outdoors. this light would be hardly noticable at best, I would recomend the original Galaxian for this type of setting since it shoots so many rays. I think that would be more noticable for large outdoor open spaces.
In the end, both these lights are awesome and priced just right. Although these lights may not fit certain areas or needs, these lights are just great and highly recomend them.
