I have 5 Par 36 LED lights that need a controller. I recent found out the hard way that they are able to be controlled by the LED-4C Controller. I guess the par lights use 6 Channels. I'm looking at the LED Operator at this point. Could someone tell me if this controller will work with my lights? I don't mind if all the lights work as one.

Also a side note. If someone has this controller could you tell me a little more about the chase buttons. what all can be set in those?

Thanks so much!

Need a tiny bit more informaton.

Now, you can go with a higher end controller. This might be a good idea anyways since most likely you're going to get more lights down the line and want to control them.

The ADJ P36 LED is a 6 channel unit.

The LED-4C is a 4 channel controller.

This combination would not be good. If you read the ADJ page for the LED-4C, it says it is specifically designed for the ADJ Globe Color, Quad Color and Verti-Color. Of course, that doesn't mean it is restricted to those. But the main thing is that this is a 4-channel controller and you need at least 6 channels.

The LED Operator is a 3-channel controller, so again, this is not going to work for you either.

What I would say is don't focus so much on "LED" in the product name. What you need is a DMX controller, period. You can always use label tape to make your channels easy to remember, there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, I do that.

What you might want to consider is the DMX Operator perhaps.

There's also nothing wrong with your idea to make them all behave the same. If that's what you want to do, that's perfectly fine. I have my 8 64 LED Pros addressed sepparately, but most of the time they are all behaving as one.

Keep asking questions. Let's not learn things the hard way if it can be avoided.
