P36 LED prpblem and question

I have four p36's, but yesterday when I was connecting it to DMX, it started spazzing out! It took about five minutes before the random colors stopped, and it followed the DMX. If I tap the light it makes a buzzing sound, but if I tap the other three they don't. It's worked before, because I did a gig a few weeks ago. And now for that question. To use the p36 as an uplight, you would need to point it straight upward. But if you connect dmx cables to it, you can't point it straight up. So, is there another stand I can buy for it, or will I have to fabricate ny own? Thanks!
