unfortunately, the description doesnt say the following good points:

  • you can take off the lid from the eco case and put your vms on it, so it fits the height of turntables (+/- something, but better than without anything...)

  • you can take off BOTH!!! lids from the lux trolley... this means, the vms can stand in a good height, and your laptop also!

  • you can also take off the trolley wheels.

hope this helps Smiler
I bought the ACF-SW/VMS4 ECO last week.
Nice case !
Maybe a little thing the production guys should consider, the locks are upside down :-)
The case is so build that the controller actually is (standing) laying (on) in the lit. That way you'll have to put the case down, with the lit (narrowest part of the case) on the table, removing the body-part (widest part) of the case.
The problem that the developers could have stumbled on is the fact the lock is bigger on one half and that way could not be put on the right way (the lit-part of the case is to small for the bigger part of the lock ?). If not, the locks the other way around would be more logic :-)

No big issue but worth mentioning :-)

OK I found the bags in the UK.

Phase One (DJ and disco stuff) are selling them, but be warned that they're NINETY FIVE QUID!

Bearing in mind that a large laptop bag can be had for a third of that price, you've got to REALLY want one!

Mike at Phase One tells me they'll be getting the SMALL hard case (suitcase style) in next week for only £59. Seems the sensible option...

A reply will be greatly appreciated., it's time to buy a new bag.
Too much padding in front, not enough on far edge and sides. Are you able to leave your wiring in place when you move around or do you have to wire it all up each time?

I tend to try to design custom wiring harnesses so ease set and strike as much as possible and at least minimize what I can where I can.
