Newer computers usb port problems

I have the VMS4 that works fine on my older laptop but I just got a new computer and I'm getting no audio. Was on the phone with the tech guys on Friday for 1 1/2 hours and still not working. Sergio and Guy were the 2 tech's I talked to and we tried everything. Guy said that they are getting calls from people with newer computer having this same problem. Anybody else having this problem? Any fixes? Thanks

what exactly does "newer computer" mean?

do you use usb3 or usb2 on that computer?
what software are you using?
what operating system?

Hi I had this problem too so I thought I would reply to help anyone who has this problem in the future, it took me a few weeks trying I even re installed windows

in the end the solution was to simply right click the virtual dj icon and select run as administrator, same thing with adj asio it doesn't 'see' the vms4 unless I run it as admin.

just for the record: the same goes for traktor, you always have to run these programs as admin!
