I want to know I purchased a new set of lights 2 vertigo, tripod and t-bar with c-clamps, but do not know how to setup the vertigos with the clamps. I tried but doesn't hold. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a tutorial on the web to teach me to set it up? Thanks!

below are some photos of my setup so far. One Vertigo is just hanging on the t-bar with the clamp attached.

I just want to know how to put the vertigo and clamp so the Vertigo will stay up? If it is possible could someone like draw me a scetch or some photo of exactly how the clamp is supposed to go on. Thanks!

Close, but not exactly.

The clear things up, hold the clamp so the open part is facing up and the crank is pointing towards you.
Now attach your vertigo on the bolt that is pointing towards the floor.
Then place the clamp on the bar (still open side up) so that the pipe passes through the V in the clamp.
Tighten the hand crank until the pipe is pressed into the V tightly.
That’s it!

the thing I don't understand is why do they have the holes on teh top of the t-bar. The longer bolt with the twister handle does not even go into the hole. Which I can't understand. Also it looks like the small bolt for holding the light doesn't look like it will hold. Maybe I should put a longer bolt with a twist nut at the other end? Thanks for the helps guys.

As long as the bolt has threads through the clamp, it will hold just fine unless you're bumping the living snot out of the stand all night light. If you're doing that, or allowing it to happen, you're going to have bigger problems anyways.

As far as the holes in the bar are concerned, they are intended for ParCan-type fixtures. Sure, you can modify things by purchasing a larger bolt to go through the bar(try a 2.5-inch bolt), but then you're not needing the C-clamp anyways and you can bolt right to the bar.
Okay here are the final photos. Now I total got it. The twister bolt should go in the back so no one can see it. I was stupid in the first photos to put the twister going up. But now I have a visualization of how it was supposed to go on, but in my opinion I like the idea of making it go through the holes with long bolt and helicopter nut. Btu this way if I want to use vertigo lights and par cans at the same time it will be no problem. Thanks again everyone for helping the poor young DJ Big Grin

Personally speaking, I wouldn't use a bolt alone(or rather nut and bolt) to secure your Vertigo units to your T-bar. Use some washers to spread that load out on both sides of the bar.

Then again, I'd skip the bolt idea all together and go with the clamp solution if you plan on moving your rig from event to event. Pack your fixtures into their boxes or some sort of transport case or bag to keep them safe during transit. Using the bolt solution will just take longer to set up and tear-down. If you go the clamp route, you can leave the clamp on the fixture and then just attach the clamp to the bar. That's how I would do it if I were going that route. Instead, I bought something like 50 ADJ O-Clamps(one or more per fixture as needed), and I leave the clamps on the fixture. Saves me tons of time.

Now, if you had 4 ParCan's on that T-Bar(attached via bolts) and were using the Arriba case AC150, you can leave the ParCans on the bar in the case. That can save time too. I am planning on doing that.

You should ALWAYS use a safety cable in addition to the c-clamp when mounting a light. If the c-clamp were to slip for some reason, the safety cable will prevent your light from falling.
