Again, I hate to flame.. But don't hold your breath. If you read the forums it's full of excuses and work-arounds. It's like they never even tested this thing. There's so much that needs to be fixed, I'd be releasing patches every week to get this thing in tip-top shape. It'd appear that most things could be fixed via a firmware update. The mapping issues are just having to take the time to program the thing. Not a real big deal.

I got this thing in Sept. I still haven't used it at a gig because it's not trust worthy. I'm glad I threw $600 into the wind. I could've gotten a hooker for that much.

But the latest and greatest firmware can be found in this post.

yo tambien de veras que botee mi dinero en este equipo que, parece que no provaron para nada, y los de soporte tecnico solo quieren que se los mande a MIAMI, creo que me pondre a la campaña de que "no compren este equipo mas personas y que no cometan el mismo error que yo cometi".

I also in deed that botee my money in this equipment that, it seems that not provaron for nothing, and those of technical alone support want that one orders them to MIAMI, I believe that me pondre to the campaign of which " persons do not buy this equipment mas and which they do not commit the same mistake "

i have to admit i'm losing my patience a bit.

on the one hand there seems to be no attempt at all to get rid of the language issue (i'm not a native english speaker myself, btw.), all of my attempts to help him got lost.

the same seems to go for the adj support. a minimum of own initiative must be applied in support cases.

next, there are many happy vms4 users out there. you get a sturdy unit for a reasonable price. i've been using it long enough to see strengths and weaknesses, but still, i'm absolutely convinced about it.

i will close this thread now and delete all following messages in spanish - as nice as it is from mixmaster_vee (thx again mate!!!), i cant rely here on a forums user jumping in permanently.
