New ADJ lighting,,,,,,,Nice!!!!

I really don't think its anything to get excited about because there's no innovation in their new products. They make the Accu series to try to compete with the ILS series from "that other company." The new Elecra and Pods are nothing new, just brighter and a different case. So now you can no longer add to your existing "Pod" lights without having a different version of it. Also, the Goboscope is same effect as the Spiral Graph they made a few years ago, but discontinued and is made now so that they can compete with the Ego 3 at a lower cost.

I don't mean to sound so negative, I still buy AMDJ lights.

I never had anyone complain or be disappointed because a new version of a fixture is brighter and runs cooler.

The Accu series fixtures DO compete (not try) with several products on the market. A major advantage of the Accu series is our superior total support policy.

It's all good. I was just trying to point out that the new lights aren't really "new" effects. It would really be cool if American DJ could release some DMX effect lights that use the MSD250/2 lamp. They would make a GREAT centerpiece when using four of the Accu Scanners.

We are always working on "Really New" products and improving currant technologies. Keep an eye out for "New Releases" the first qtr of 05.

I think you can still add to your existing Pods with the new ones because when I use the red and blue color gels in the 50 watters, they are not as bright as the yellow and green, hence I will be buying 4 of the newer Pods to use with the red and blue gels. Hey I've been waiting for them to bring out some brighter ones, not to mention they now have 3 different options of running them, static, continuous, or sound active just like the active pod. I think the Pods are a great lighting effect and very inexpensive to boot. Nothing wrong with improving your product, but hey, that's just my opinion.
