I talked to the service dept this afternoon, who gave me a suggestion about how to fix my mister kool...but not only didnt that work... (I think it's the pump..the heater and the fan are still working) but it's leaking ANYWAY, so I need to get an RA# and address to send it to... This one is in pretty rough shape upon close inspection...It's a Re-man...So I didnt expect NEW...but this one looks as though it's been through the ringer. ;-)
I left a message with my number, but havent heard back.. I'll try again tomorrow.

I just got my Mister Kool back today, and it's STILL leaking...and it's the SAME CASE... I specifically asked them IN WRITING to replace the whole unit, due to the number of problems that this one had...and it would appear to have a new pump in it, but one of the BIGGEST problems it had was (and still IS) that the case is BENT, and the cooler well is LEAKING ALL OVER THE FLOOR... I am SOOO PO'ed at the moment...I am already 45 bucks into this repair, for the shipping... and now, while it might make fog...I'm sure my insurance carrier would rather I NOT use a piece of equipment that leaks water all over the floor...I am still gonna have to either send it back, costing me ANOTHER 45 dollars for shipping, or fix it myself. A little communication would have avoided this problem...I never heard a word that it was received, or fixed, or anything.
I am so disappointed.
First of all, I apologize for my vent... and yeah, this is NOT the place...But I was SO frustrated...this was the first outlet I came to. I complained about communication, and failed at it myself...I COMPLETELY forgot about time zones... It was after hours here, but not in California.

I dont want any misunderstandings on this... I am not trying to get a NEW unit. I was trying to get another reman-unit, because the case on this one is bent. When I buy reman I dont expect new, but I DO expect functional. I realize that leak is not something you would catch right away, in a general function test...which is why I put it in writing, and sent the letter with the unit.
For the record, this the first time, I have had ANY problems with an ADJ Reman. (ACTUALLY it's the first problem I've EVER had with an ADJ item. My lights are real work-horses.)
BTW..I fired this unit up while ago, and it is sending small bursts of fog out the fan in the back while heating...I hope that's not normal.

First off thank you for the call, and voicemail on the 16th of December telling me that another unit was on the way. I have this one ready to go, and will ship it as soon as the replacement arrives. I'm wondering if the holiday traffic would have delayed it this much? Do you have a tracking number?

I left a message in your box twice today...you left one in mine...You said you needed to be reminded of the situation...Here it is...
The address you have is correct. 105 hickory Ridge Drive... You told me you were sending me another one on Dec 16th. I waited. Then you said that you needed to verify the address..and it took me forever to remember to call. Then I did, and you said you need to be reminded of the details... so here ya go....
I got a reconditioned Mister Kewl...It was leaking and only intermittedly blowing a small amount of fog... Your guys said send it in. So I shipped it (at my expense) to you, along with a letter explaining the problems that this unit had. I also, in this letter requested a replacement instead of a repair, because the case was cracked on the bottom of the unit, and had apparently been run over, or something before being reconditioned, and probably contributed to the leaking problem.
After about a month, with no further communication, the fogger shows up at my doorstep. It makes fog now, but it still leaks, and it's still cracked.
SO then you left me a message, saying that you were sending one out, THAT DAY...on the 16th of Dec, and if the address was correct, (you then recited my address)... then I didnt need to do anything else. (I still have that message, if you want to hear it.)
Then I believe you can see the above thread and fill in the rest...
I still have the faulty one. Once it's replacement arrives, I'll send it to you, but in in the meantime if it becomes nessesary I can caulk the crap out of it, and get through a gig.
