i just got a set up that includs a pro scratch 1 and a pro dj 1 cd player. i hope i did not mess up when i got a ****** mx190 mixer, but i did. it has Qstart and i liked it so i got it, lol. the problem i am having is this - the pro scratch1 is on the right side of the fader and the pro dj is on the left side of the fader. when i have the fader all the way to the left it does not play the pro scratch 1 (of course) but if i scratch on the wheel you can hear it even with the fader all the way to the left, now rem. you can not hear music play with it all the way to the left but you can hear the scratching. this means i cant use the fader to scratch because you can hear it all so i cant turn part of the scratch off with the fader so its sounds like a little kid going back and forth on a record like i did back in the day, lol. i can hit the cue and then it works but only in the head phones. it works fine in the headphones but when i hit cue so you can hear it on the speakers you can hear the scratching even with the fader all the way to the left. PLEASE HELP - I hope you understand my ?

i tried all the channels, i put channel 1 on the left and channel 2 on the right. it works fine with the them that way but only in the headphones with the cue off, when i put the cue on you can hear it on the left side. the thing that is so wierd is you cant hear the music play with it to the left but you can hear the scratching. ok. this is what happens let say i am playing the player on the left side which is channel 1 with the fader all the way to the left.if i move the wheel on the ps1 you can hear it but you cant hear the music playing even if i have the ps1 paused and in scratch mode you can hear the scratching i really thank you for your help. I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE GOT AN AMERICAN DJ MIXER LOL
Geez.. i am tatally lost here! If the PS1 is on pause, how in the world are you still be able to hear it? I don't get it... Try checking if you hooked up the RCA Connetions in the correct line outputs and inputs in the back of the mixer ! Go over it 1 more time to make sure that everything is set correctly. Check if the mixer has a Hamster Switch on it which makes you hear the oppisite side of what your playing, if it's on.. then turn it off. Shut the Qstart off, try it out !
i cant hear the music in pause just when you scratch in pause mode with the scratsh mode on i wish i could explan what is happing a little better i am new to this and dont know much about it but i know i should not hear the scrating when the fader is all the way to the left the prom. is i cant cut out some of the scratch like when you are scrating and you move the fader over to the left so you cant hear the scratch then you move it back to the right so you can hear it agin so you can make diff. sounds with the scratch well i cant do that unless i do it in my headphones if i try to do it where you can hear the music by hitting the cue you can hear all of the scratching and it sounds like i am just going back and forth on the wheel it wont fade in and out like i want it to i thank you for your help i just wish i could explan it a little better ps. should you be able to scratch on the whell with it in pause i think you can but not real sure
