Need HELP! Concept 2 & DMX Operator

I just got two Concept 2 scanners and the Elation DMX Operator. When I have the time I will program the DMX however to be able to use these for my bands shows right away I was hoping to be able to use the Concept 2's presents (which look great) and simply use the DMX Operator to black out or at least get the scanners to "calm down" while we have breaks between songs.

I have already turned down the mic sensitivity but it isn't enough. Is there any way to do this? Again just to clarify, the factory programs already in the Concept 2 look great and I'd like to run that function during all the songs, but I'd just like to either black out or slow down - possibly run a simple program while our lead singer is talking. It just looks strange with the lights going wild when all my lead singer is doing is talking to the crowd.

Again, I just need a temporary solution - any ideas? Anyone? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Look in the manuel of the concepts under the DMX traits and see if under any channel you can access the Internal programs, (some lights you can do this). If you cant do it like that, you can always buy the Mini controler designed for the concepts, does exacly what you are looking to do.
