MyDMX software and Fusion FX 2Bar

Ya this is a bit tricky. I just emailed you a modified profile. The profile i sent you you will want to put on channel 13. The channels 1-12 you will want to use the Generic RGB profile found in the Generic folder in the scan library. The software will not allow multiple RGB sections. Which is why i have this work around. Let me know if you have any questions.

Does any software support multiple RGB sections? In the case of the fusions, in 1 instance it's not just multiple RGB sections, but different types of lights as well.

I would think incorporating all that sort of stuff into a single profile for a 3D Visualizer would require a profile or light file to be significantly more complex, and likewise so would the software. I'm not faulting MyDMX for not supporting this. I definately understand the complexities. I think one of the issues is that for the price, that sort of advanced 3D Visualizer stuff just can't be integrated into a product that sells at such a price.

Finally, is there any way to activate sound to light while in program?

In my dmx the only way to get a sound active function is to put the fixture in it's sound active mode via DMX. (See the dmx traits to confirm your fixture(s) have this capability)
If your fixtures do not support sound active while in DMX mode then your out of luck.

The only other option is if you want sound active ONLY ad your fixture does NOT support sound active in DMX mode, you can attach your fixture to a switching pack(or a dimmer pack with that channel set to switching mode) and control it that way. You'd have to use a generic profile to represent the fixture in MyDMX though if you go this route.

Folks, please remember to read your manuals. You'll find out if the fixture you want(or have) supports features you want. If manuals are avialable, please download and read the manuals before you make purchase decisions. It can save many people from making wrong purchases. Of course, it can also help people make proper decisions.
