MyDMX Drivers for Windows 8

should be working on this, mostlikely will be apart of the next release

Question is,

When is the next release(ESA2, which is what myDMX2 is based upon was updated Oct 11, with the 3D visualizer working)? It was stated that after initial release, you guys were hoping for monthly updates, it's now been 2 months since the last release. I have a myDMX 2.0 on order, and am picking up a new Windows8 laptop this weekend. Should I just cancel the myDMX order?

to be correct, ESA2 is not the same program as MyDmx2.0 ESA is the Easy Stand Alone program where you can preprogram scenes and save them into the interface and not need a computer running. However, MyDmx2 is not a ESA interface.

Did you resolve this issue? I have a Win 8 Laptop and want to install MyDMX software to continue working our lights. We have upgraded from Vista to Win 8. I hope you have this resolved already.

Not sure if you got this resolved, but you should be able to install the drivers by starting windows with driver signature enforcement turned off.

Once booted into windows with it turned off, you can run the driver installer on it's own from c:\mydmx2\siudidriver.exe, that's assuming you left the application installed after the driver install failed.

It looks like there has been an update for windows 8 in Dec of 2012 on the download link for MyDMX 2.0
