For me, there really is nothing about the software that I can say I dislike. It has been a godsend to me and the support for 1.0, even on the verge of the 2.0 release, is incredible.

I did see a video with some glimpses of the new software and the "look" of it is much nicer with more colors and such.

It looks like developers are working day and night to get this ready to go asap so maybe this means there may still be an opportunity to request a simple addition. Haha. My only wish is for sound/bpm activation (I'm hoping this is already included). That's it.

Hate to burst your bubble but far as I know and I have the latest beta of 2.0, there will not be any sound/BPM function added to the new program. That type of function will not likely ever make it too my dmx. Sorry.
also you know that 2.0 is a completely new product/purchase. We are not releasing it as a simple software update that will use the 1.0 hardware. 2.0 requires new hardware. Smiler
Sincerely,
LOL. I understand everyone eagerness. I was dying to get my hands on the first beta. Trust me. It IS VERY F***IN Awesome! lol and it is easy to use. We may have a few surprises up our sleeves yet too. My 2 year old son loves to play with it. :P He's got the new effects generator down pretty good. Smiler Just got to figure out why he likes to mix purples pinks and like pastel colors mainly...... hahaha
Sincerely,
Hi Jingles,
the new look of mydmx 2.0 is absolutely great, but i'm very disappointed, that the brand new Software has no Sound to light option. A Software with this feature and a MAC Version must be reach the tops of must products. But so i think the new program is not quiet better then the old one.
Hi big creators of My DMX Smiler

I was looking for lighting software for our theater more then 1 year and tried all softwares but My DMX is best.

It's simple, user friendly, low hardware requirements and there are all things which I need for our theater production (we play cca 15 shows per month). Now we use hardware dmx controller but we will buy My DMX (we are just waiting for my dmx 2).

Only one thing missing here. Non-linear crossfade between scenes. This is function that is absolutly need for profesional theatre lighting.

Now I may set for Scene Fade Time and Hold Time.

I need set Wait Time for crossfade.

Example:
Scene A - Fade Time 3 sec - now active,
Scene B - Fade time 2 sec, Wait Time 1 sec

When I click in the User window on the Scene B so Scene A begin fade out and Scene B waiting 1 sec and begin fade in.

It would be absolutly fantastic if it was in My dmx 2 or in some later updates.

When do you want so I'm available for more questions.

But now is My Dmx very good software.

Bye.

Oh nice, rip the 1.0 guys off. Cool way to do business. So 1.0 is left in dark. So after a year or 2, you'll do the same thing to the 2.0 users. Hell there is nothing regarding the 1.0 users... no software download page, nothing. I had hell of a time trying to figure out what was going on when I let a night club use the mydmx 1.0 because their $2.5k show designer 3 fried up. I couldn't figure out why the dongle wasn't working with 2.0 thinking it was just a software update.

You say you listen to your customers, but its just a flat out lie. I have seen lots of post on midi triggering, can't trigger in background, can't cue stack. bpm/sound. You tell everyone to go use another software when these are simple features that can be added in the clean interface you have to be user friendly. As you know, other software can be time consuming and tricky to learn. You got a great looking product that is easy to use, but in the end, its a disappointment cause you all tell us MyDMX will not have this or that when people want it. You guys make light fixtures, VIZI spot, VIZI spot pro, etc.. Why not MyDMX Pro... Seriously the market it there, but you guys only hear what you want to hear.
