Hello, to everyone.
I'm new on this forum, and sorry for my bad english, in advance.
I am using My dmx2.0, and i noticed there are 2 types of outputs, one with 3pin connector out, and a second one with a 5 pin connector out. We are using the 3 pin connector, but we want to use the second one too.
Can u tell me how can i do that? With some kind of adaptor? or converter?? and so on...
Any assistance u can provide is much appreciated.
Thanks!!

Yup --- agree with CMBDJ. Some people have DMX cables with 5-pin connectors and 110 ohm DMX wire. But in the MyDMX 2.0 like most other DMX systems, only 3 of the 5 conductors are used in the 5-pin connector and many DMX light fixtures only use 3 pin XLR type connectors since only 3 conductors are actually required. The MyDMX box is simply providing you with the two connector options depending on what cable/connector combinations you are using. And MyDMX 2.0 only supports one DMX universe output. If you cannot daisy-chain your cable run from fixture to fixture for the entire lighting system and have to use several separate cable runs, then you need to consider adding a DMX signal splitter device somewhere between the MyDMX box and the dividing point for multiple cables.
