Hi
I have just purchased my dmx version 1, without realizing the version 2 has recently been released. After set up it appears that the new version 2 software does not work with the DMX 1 USB controller - I was unable to get the software out of Demo mode and it would not recognize the interface.

Before I send this back to the retailer, I just wanted to check that this is the case or am I doing something wrong

the Version 1.0 doesn not interface with the V2.0 and same the other way...2 does not work with 1.0

I need to use Mac for my old MYDMX light controller. If my understanding is correct, MYDMX 2 Mac software will not work with the Older MYDMX?

That is correct. You need ver2 to work on a mac.

you need the 2.0 interface to work on a mac
