I've been using MyDMX for quite a few years now, the scenes / steps I've created have run faultless since I created them a few years ago.

At my last function certain scenes started playing up / not working, I've not changed anything or created any new lighting programs prior to these faults occurring on my windows laptop.

The failing scenes still make the mirrors on the scanners move as if I've set the 'shutter' fader to 'off', however when I view the steps and faders they all are in the correct places, ie set to a position where they should be 'on'.

I've recreated a few new scenes and these are currently working fine.

I've replaced all DMX cables to see if that was the issue but the problem still occurs when these have been replaced.

The only options left are:-

That the fixtures are at fault (but seem to be functioning ok with the remaining working scenes).

The software has a bug (Although worked perfectly up until now).

or the MyDMX box has developed a fault.

Would be interested if anyone else has had this issue... TIA

sounds like it is the box going bad....you can try reinstalling the program which would reset the drivers for the box....but it sounds like the box is going

Thanks for your reply.. It is a few years old so will see how it performs this weekend.

Might be time to upgrade to MyDMX 2.0 soon.

yea, it sounds like it.... only other thing i can think of is you might have a virus on your computer that corrupted the files.... then when you recreated scenes it woould have been different saved files if that makes sense....
