My DCD PRO1000 UPDATE

Well I have to thank prosound 200%, they got me my DCD PRO1000 in one day, and I think it was the first one they shipped from their new stock. I was a bit skeptical about actually receiving it but I got it on Thursday around 3pm..next day shipping is expensive but I now have this machine in my possession.

Next step is to use and abuse it and see what it can and cant handle if anything.

Stay tuned for my analysis.

So far I have found one thing i dont like with this machine.

The jog wheel and the different pitch ranges.
The wheels pitch bend shouldnt change as a direct result of you changing your pitch settings to 4% 8% etc.

The pitch bend of the wheel should be determined by a percentage of the current pitch setting.

Eaxample pitch bend of jog wheel = (.2*current pitch)

That way your pitch bend using the wheel will be uniform and consistent no matter what pitch range you are set to.

I wonder if this can be changed with firmware?? I hope it can.

Dont get things twisted though so far this is the only thing i dont like...everything else seems great but i dont have the time to really get into it today.
