Multiple Effects in Scene Builder

I can use multiple color effects in my scenes, but I'm unable to add position effects at the same time. Is this a limitation because of the way steps need to be segmented and time-stamped?

Unfortunately, the effects section becomes useless for me if I can't assign a different position macro to each of my four moving heads...unless I'm missing something here.

I'm guessing scene layering would help fix this limitation.

I've had a similar experience. It seems the position effects are controlled inside their group, so unless you have four different lights, they are all going to be moving with the sme pattern.

A couple items that might help. Read the following post to see how to select each light seperately in the forums. "Two Different Moving Heads, One Scene"

I have found that sometimes when I select a fixture that I go to add an effect and for some reason it does not stay with the selected fixture. If the fixture is not highlighted when you add the effect, just select it again while in the FX editing and it should apply (you can select one or more to apply the effect).

the efx generator will let you do effects on the different lights one at a time or in groups...you simply select the fixture(s) that you want to do the efx on...and can layer them all you want...then create the scene once completed
