what version of mydmx are you using?
dmx 1 on windows 8
we have recieved a few customers messages reguarding Windows 8 and the drivers not working properly. We are working on this issue.
Thank you for your response I would have thought you will have more than a few customers having snags with drivers for my DMX..
yea, the drivers for windows 8 needed to be built...release will have them shortly
Does the new Windows 8 driver set have any bugs? I'm having some issues that may be related to a bug. Please see my post from yesterday. Thx
there are a few issues that we are checking that could simply be computer related and not drivers...but no known bugs with the drivers

Well I'm getting the same error using Windows 8 and MyDMX 2.0. It's now December 2013. When will the drivers be out? Until then I can't use this computer for the primary purpose it was purchased for!
Try the new november update and see if that helps as there is bug fixes with this update including sorting compatability issues for apple mavericks 10.9 osx so i would imagine they sorted the windows 8 driver issues. here is the november update: https://www.dropbox.com/s/egb3w3xw5gy7rj7/mydmx2.exe
