Thanks to everyone who has been so helpful lately, especially those who emailed me privately to give a newbie a little stage lighting education. I feel much more informed now.

Any suggestions on how to mount ADJ Par-38Bs to a base that sits on the floor? These need to be super-mobile so I figured I could just mount them on a square piece of plywood with some feet fastened to the bottom. But I need some suggestions about how to secure the mounting part to the bases I'll be making.

The mounting bracket has a hole in the center. All you would need to do is drill a matching size hole in the base and run a bolt up through the plywood and bracket and secure with a wingnut at the top. If you have feet on the corners of the base it will not tip due to the head of the bolt. Or just countersink the bolt head into the plywood. Ta-Da!
