Mounting LCD Projector?

Anyone using an ADJ truss product to mount a PC LCD projector? If not ADJ, what are you using? I am thinking about modifing a T-Bar but what a pain that would be. I need to be able to place it so I can make a 15 foot front projection screen from gig to gig.

Thanks
Gary

I checked their site and there are no tripods for LCD projectors. I did find a generic adjustable bracket that may work by connecting to the opposite side of my front truss. I just got my Eidrol V-4 video mixer and I want to use it at my next gig.
I was down the same road as you, what we do, is mount our screens to the portable 10' trussing systems along with our lights, the projector it's self is to heavey to hang as it is old and big, so we have a road case the the projector goes in that we setup in front of the screens that work pretty good, I was looking at getting a LCD projector but havent gotten around to forking out the cash for it. Keep me posted on what works for you.

Why do you want to have the projector at the top???
I project the image behind the screen, so there is no way anyone can walk across and block the image. Smiler [/qb]
What screen are you using for rear-projection? Cost has been a factor for me on rear, $1200 for cheapest portable rear-capable screen. So I am wanting to go the from route, mount it high at an angle and then use the trapazoid function on the projecotr to correct the projection angle.

I may have found a solution....

It appears that this is a replacement screen and I bet I can Truss mount it. The price is right too, $165. I'll keep you posted. Rear projection would solve all of my problems.
Any screen can be rear projection. You dont buy a "retractable" or motorized kind. You buy the kind that are just flat giant squares. They are white both sides, and you put them together. And all projectors have front/rear projection, to make sure your image is the right way. You can also make a screen, its not easy, but really cheap, but you gotta take your time on it. The material is pretty cheap too. Its like this silky stretchy stuff. Plus its lightweight and really bright, so your images will really be brighter on the screen.
